Performers and entertainers!
The gulf coast renaissance faire is currently seeking lane performers!
Who?
Your business, organization, club or single individuals with fun,
unique costumes. Musicians enthusiastically welcomed.
What?
Performers will walk the aisles of the renaissance faire to interact
with the patrons and participate in the royal parades. Each character
should be able to relate some educational bit of knowledge, either
about the character they are portraying, the historical relevance of
their costume or character, or be able to tell a story, fairytale etc...
When?
Lane performers should audition by appointment before February 15,
2011. Performance is for Friday, the school day. Performers who do
well this day will be invited to come back Saturday and Sunday
How?
Fill out and mail in the vendor application. Download by clicking on
the flag for the Gulf Coast Renaissance Faire. Performers for the
event in March will be considered if we have a school day for the
November event. or email gcrenfaire@aol.com with a breakdown of
your act or performance
Money?
The Gulf Coast Renaissance Faire currently is booked with a number
of paid acts so lane performers will be working for tips. This can be
very rewarding depending on the work you put into your act.
If you or your group has an outstanding act at a reasonable fee,
please let us know your details and we will consider hiring acts on an
individual basis.
